Bright Midland Weekly Meetup

Join us at the next “Nord Night” — a casual community gathering Tuesday nights at 6:30 at Nord Social.
On the agenda tonight:
What does it actually take to assess the condition of 11 school buildings?
!e’ll be joined by several local professionals who participated firsthand in the MPS Facility Assessment.
They’re joining us informally, as community members and on their own time — not to give a presentation, but to sit around the table, share some of their experience and join the conversation.
The full Facility Assessment is roughly 400 pages and identifies approximately $549 million in facility needs across the district. That’s a lot to unpack.
So bring your questions. What did they look at? How were needs prioritized? What goes into determining whether something needs attention now — or can wait?
They may not be able to answer every question, and that’s okay. This is an opportunity to ask, listen and better understand the work behind the numbers
Come curious. Bring your questions. Everyone is welcome.
And…get your ribbons, car clings, signs, buttons and more.
Come simply to listen, ask questions, and learn — you don’t have to volunteer or sign up for anything. For those who want to get more involved, we’re also organizing action teams and finding simple ways for people to help share information and build support.
Everyone is welcome!
